The artist Kehinde Wiley said, “The beauty of art is that it allows you to slow down, and for a moment, things that once seemed unfamiliar become precious to you.”

The Visual Arts Growth and Achievement Award is​ given to students who excel in the areas photography, ceramics, drawing & painting and art history.​ These students ​have demonstrated exceptional exploration and improvement of their artistic skills, both technically, and conceptually.
