The Smoky Hill AVID Program, ​annually gives the AVID Achievement Award to two students who exemplify the spirit of AVID. Both students exemplify ​A​dvancement ​V​ia ​I​ndividual D​etermination by their perseverance in pursuit of their academic goals, positive attitudes, and willingness to help others.
