On an annual basis, the principal of Smoky Hill High School and the school Leadership team select the recipient of the ​NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL’S LEADERSHIP AWARD​.

This year’s winner is Student Body President ​Matine Khalighi​.

​

Matine prides himself on being able to balance his academic schedule with the numerous co-curricular and community service projects in which he participates and leads. Hard work and self-motivation have allowed Matine to grow tremendously as a scholar, mentor, and leader. Smoky Hill thanks you Matine.
